Using WriteForge

These terms cover the WriteForge app, keyboard, and service.

The service

WriteForge provides AI-assisted writing tools and, for enabled accounts, transcription. AI results can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review them before use, especially for legal, medical, financial, or other high-impact decisions. iOS and the app you’re writing in may restrict third-party keyboards or limit the text available to them.

Subscriptions

In the United States, Standard costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Plus costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year with its own monthly allowance. Each of the four subscription products has a separately configured monthly allowance. All plans include every writing action. Apple shows local prices for other storefronts.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the subscription renews at the price shown by Apple. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings.

The free trial

Eligible new Standard subscribers receive a 7-day trial with 25 successful AI actions. Apple determines eligibility. After the trial, the selected plan renews at its listed price unless canceled. You can upgrade to Plus immediately during the trial; the higher-tier purchase ends the trial and begins Plus access.

Paid usage allowances

Paid allowances reset monthly, including annual plans. Usage is measured from the cost of AI processing, so different edits can use different amounts. The app shows remaining usage and the reset date. At the limit, AI actions pause until the next reset or an upgrade provides additional allowance. Unused usage does not roll over.

Accounts and granted access

Sign in with Apple before purchasing or restoring access. A purchase stays linked to the WriteForge account that activated it and cannot be restored into a different account.

Granted access remains account-bound and ends on its stated expiration date, if any. Grants may be revoked under the service controls below. If a grant has a shared account limit, deleting an account does not restore its used slot. Complimentary access may have an expiration or no expiration. When more than one active source applies, the highest available tier is used; allowances are not added together. Grants do not change Apple billing. All plans and grants remain subject to the service controls below; a grant without an expiration is not a promise of permanent service availability.

Privacy and account deletion

AI processing requires your permission after the app explains what is shared with third-party AI providers. You can withdraw permission or delete your account in Plans & Usage. Account deletion is permanent and does not cancel an Apple subscription. Our privacy policy explains what is deleted and the minimal purchase records retained.

Acceptable use

Do not use WriteForge to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass safeguards, or abuse the service.

Registration, suspension, and availability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may, at our discretion and for any reason, close new registrations or restrict, suspend, or end AI access for an individual account, a group of accounts, or all users. We may do so temporarily or indefinitely, with or without prior notice. This can include security or abuse concerns, maintenance, capacity limits, legal requirements, or operational and business decisions; it is not limited to a violation of these terms.

These controls apply to paid subscriptions, trials, and all access grants, including Unlimited. A registration pause does not prevent existing customers from signing in. An AI-access pause stops new writing and transcription requests; requests already processing may finish. Paused customers can still manage or delete their account and use offline snippets. The app displays a notice when it learns that access is paused.

A pause does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription, stop renewals, issue a refund, extend a billing period, or reset usage. You can manage or cancel your Apple subscription and request a refund through Apple. Contact info@nullflip.com if you believe access was restricted in error or need help with paid access that is unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any non-waivable consumer rights, including rights to notice, cancellation, refunds, or other remedies under applicable law. We remain responsible for our legal and App Store obligations and will provide any notice or remedy required of us.

We work to keep WriteForge available, but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Features may change as Apple platform capabilities and third-party AI services evolve.

Apple terms

Apple does not provide maintenance or support for WriteForge. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies where required by the App Store.
